Weight Training

Weight and resistance training is a key and expected part of your off-season training and development.  The captains will be in the weight room on Monday/Wednesday/Friday’s and have a sign-in sheet for recording your workouts. If you cannot attend those days, please come Tuesday & Thursday’s; Coach Steeb will have a sign-in sheet on those days.  If you are doing a Winter sport, please let Coach Steeb or one of the captains know.
 
Please note that Montgomery High School is fortunate enough to have professional Strength and Conditioning Coach, Jim Griffin, (CSCS, PES, USAW, NASE) on staff and at the weight room every day after school.  Every day he posts a workout that has been specifically designed for students of HS age.  Please take advantage of this unique opportunity.  Any questions regarding the workouts, please ask Coach Griffin directly, or via email at jgriffin@mtsd.us
